In a press release from her office, Frankfort attorney Anna Whites announced that two formal complaints were filed today against state Representative Robert Goforth.
The first complaint, filed with the Legislative Ethics Commission, alleges “financial misconduct, use of his position for personal and professional privilege or financial gain, and interference with the judicial process.”
The second complaint, filed with the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance, “accuses Goforth of using a crime victim in his pending case, disguising a campaign mailer as a personal letter and failing to use “paid for by” disclaimers in an attempt to deceive the public.”
