Kentucky, get ready – partisan politics have now invaded your holiday gift-giving. Your gift wrapping paper, to be precise.
McConnell offers “Santa Mitch” paper
The McConnell campaign team announced that for a small donation of $25, you could be the proud owner of Santa Mitch wrapping paper. The paper features smiling pictures of Senator Mitch McConnell wearing a Santa hat. It’s quite festive, and certainly an original idea from Team Mitch.
Riffing on how Senator McConnell is packing the courts with Federalist judges, the campaign released this tweet:

The KDP counters with “Moscow Mitch” wrapping paper
Not to be outdone, the Kentucky Democratic Party put forward their own wrapping paper offering, based on their very successful Moscow Mitch promotion earlier this year.
For $30, you can get “Moscow Mitch” wrapping paper, with the picture of Senator McConnell wearing a ushanka.
