The campaign of Shannon Fabert sent out a press release announcing that state Rep. Attica Scott of Louisville has endorsed Fabert in the upcoming primary. Fabert is running for the Democratic nomination to take on Thomas Massie for the 4th District Congressional seat.
Rep. Attica’s endorsement statement:
“I’m endorsing Shannon for Congress because she is who Kentucky needs in DC right now advocating for equity, public health, and safety. Women lead differently. It’s time for Kentucky to send a woman back to Congress.”
Fabert’s statement in accepting the endorsement:
“Thank you Attica for believing in me and this campaign. Your friendship and guidance have been invaluable. It is an honor to have the confidence of a leading voice in Kentucky. I have always looked up to Representative Scott’s leadership and passion for serving her constituents. It is an honor for her to endorse my candidacy.”
Fabert is opposed for the nomination by Dr. Alexandra Owensby. The primary is June 23rd.
