The Amy McGrath campaign has booked $1.53 million worth of ad time in the final days before the primary election. Overall, her campaign has spent over $10 million on advertising just for the primary.
Via tweets from Medium Buying, we also learn that the Charles Booker campaign booked $691,000 for ads during the week-plus before the primary, with about half of that for cable-only ads. And, the Mike Broihier campaign has booked $68,000.
Joe Sonka, reporter for the Courier-Journal, tweeted in reply: “This is a lot of money to drop in the final week+ of a primary that supposedly is not competitive. #kysen”
