Matt Jones posted a long and accurate thread on Twitter last night, outlining his thoughts on what a Bevin win would look like. We reached out to see if we could repost, and he said that was okay.
So, here is Matt Jones laying out what is at stake in this election.
Matt Bevin’s running mate, Ralph Alvarado just said that if elected Bevin will move from Income tax to a higher sales tax
This is a fact. That system does nothing but hurt the poor/middle class, in order to give the wealthy a tax cut

If Kentucky elects Bevin, 3 things are sure to happen:
1. Cuts to Public Education and Teachers are coming
2. Our tax system will be flipped in favor of those making $250,000 or more
3. Healthcare for poor Kentuckians is gone

1. Large cities and/or major tourist attractions so outsiders share the burdens

Matt Bevin is BLATANT about his goals of dismantling Public education and getting rid of expanded Medicaid
Both will DEVASTATE rural communities
They will crush the rural county schools and local hospitals will close

The ONLY THING Alvarado accomplished as a legislator was passing legislation that took out most of the safety standards for Ky Nursing Homes
