Even though we are all focused on the COVID-19 crisis, every day brings us closer to the primary election in June. While the presidential and Republican Senate races are basically decided, the race for the Senate on the Democratic side is still in play. Amy McGrath has a huge lead in fund-raising, but her opponents are working on other ways to boost their campaigns, including endorsements. So, we thought it was important to share a list of those endorsements with you.
For each of the endorsements, we have included some text from the organization’s web site to tell you a little about the organization, as well as a link to the endorsement. If we could not find the endorsement publicly available online, we did not include it.
If other endorsements are made and are publicly available, we will add them to this list.

Mike Broihier endorsements

Pennyroyal Indivisible has voted to endorse Mike Broihier for Kentucky as a candidate for US Senate in the upcoming Democratic primary. We think his platform, policies, and character, as well as his broad experience as a farmer, retired Marine, teacher and journalist enable his ability to connect with a wide array of Kentucky’s citizens. He shares our progressive values and can relate to the more conservative pockets of our state by being a straight-talking truth-teller. We admire Charles Booker as well, and will support him should he win the primary. But for now, for what it’s worth, Mike is our guy! (press release) |

Indivisible Southeast KY has endorsed Mike Broihier for US Senate. He is running against Amy McGrath and Mitch McConnell. Mike is a veteran of the U.S. Marines, a farmer, a newspaper editor, and an educator. He is a person of integrity who can speak truth to power. That is a trait that has been sorely missing from our elected officials in Washington, DC. Find out more by going to Facebook at Mike Broihier for Kentucky. |
