Voting for delegates to the national convention, that is!
Any Democrat in Kentucky eligible to vote in the upcoming primary is ALSO eligible to help select delegates to this year’s national convention. We talked about that process here.
Below is more info on this process, including deadline dates that you need to pay attention to. AND, at the bottom, we’ve got a list of all the persons who are eligible to be elected as a delegate, by congressional district / presidential preference / last name.
Steps to voting for delegates to the national convention
- Sign up to be a delegate voter by going to this link. Deadline is June 12.
- Or, call the KDP office at (502) 695-4828 during office hours to sign up.
- Look for an email back to you with your personalized link to go vote. The link is only for you, it can’t be shared.
- Use that personalized link to go vote for the persons you want to see as delegates from your district. Deadline is June 14.
- The top vote-getters in each district will be selected as national delegates based on the primary results.
