Rep. Charles Booker has received two new endorsements in his campaign to be the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Mitch McConnell.
American Progressives in STEM describes themselves on their Twitter account as a “Non-partisan grassroots movement of STEM workers & students supporting #Medicare4All, #CollegeForAll, #GreenNewDeal, #ImmigrationReform, and #LivingWage.” On their website they expand on this:
Being inspired by Senator Bernie Sanders and Progressive ideas, we decided to get directly involved and combine the passions of science, technology, engineering, math & social justice that so many Americans share.
Our goal is to try and unite progressive STEM workers and students that typically enter conservative fields full of government manipulation, such as healthcare, transportation industry, goods production, and high profit tech security development.

The Collective PAC says on their website:
The promise of our democracy is that our government would be for the people and of the people. But according to “Who Represents.Us,” a project of the Women’s Donor Network, 90% of elected officials in the United States are white, 95% of elected prosecutors are white and 96% and 82% of Republican and Democratic candidates for political office are white. Therefore, The Collective PAC is focused on increasing the number of African Americans in public office at all levels, to ensure our nation upholds its ideals and promises of a truly representative democracy.
