Governor-elect Andy Beshear today announced his transition team, made up of sub-teams for each major area of state government. The total team includes more than 150 people from across the state. It was introduced at a press conference by Beshear and Lt. Governor-elect Jacqueline Coleman.
In a press release, Beshear said, “Jacqueline and I are honored to have such a strong and talented team of leaders and experts committed to helping Kentucky start this new chapter. We are truly excited about this opportunity. We will never stop working to serve every single Kentuckian, including the lost, the lonely and the left behind.”
Coleman added, “We appreciate those willing to volunteer to help us move forward as a state with dignity, inclusivity, and respect. We all share a common goal to make Kentucky a vibrant, safe, healthy place for our families to live and work for generations to come. We’ve got a lot of work to do. Let’s get started.”
