The arrests continue of those who took part in the insurrection on January 6th. And while other states gain attention for leading the list of those arrested in terms of raw numbers, here’s an interesting factoid:
When you look at number of arrests compared to population, Kentucky is #2 out of all the states.
And, even in just raw numbers, we’re #8.
In other words, we’ve had a higher percentage of our population arrested for attacking the Capitol than any other state except Montana.
Where did our arrestees come from?
The people arrested from Kentucky aren’t just from one part of the state, either. Here are the counties where they are from:

All of these numbers come from the list of “Capitol Breach Cases” on the web site of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. I sorted the list by location of arrest and got the 13 arrested in the state, then added two from Kentucky that were arrested elsewhere.
