Marine vet Sherman Neal is looking for a few good men or women.

“I need approximately five partners to lobby lawmakers — virtually — for the passage of Breonna’s Law when the legislature reconvenes for the second half of the current session,” said the Murray attorney who is working as a criminal justice advocate for Amnesty International.

“Affiliation with Amnesty International is not required,” said Neal, who is also a volunteer Murray State University football coach. “Amnesty International has a thorough and brief training program for citizen-lobbyists, and will coordinate times for interaction with state representatives and senators.

“This is a great opportunity for new leaders or persons with political aspirations.”

Neal said AI is also “working to advocate for other First Amendment and criminal justice issues in western Kentucky.”

More information is available from Neal by phone at 630-301-1824 or email at shermanneal777@gmail.com.
