The activist group Kentuckians for the Commonwealth has chapters all over the state that meet in person every month, but with the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing, those meetings have had to go on hiatus for a while.
So, KFTC is trying something different – a statewide virtual meeting.
On Monday, March 30, at 7:30 pm Eastern, the organization invites its members and others to come together via Zoom for a mass online meeting to “connect with other KFTC members from across the state and check in on how we’re all doing in this rapidly unfolding crisis.”
The meeting will include time to share stories, support other members, and identify ways to continue to organize and do the work of the organization.
Registration is required, though. If you want to attend, you’ll need to go to this page to sign up. You’ll then get the meeting info via email.
