Members and friends of Moms Demand Action of Kentucky went to the state capitol on Valentine’s Day to lobby their legislators for common-sense gun safety laws, then held a rally in the rotunda. Part of the rally was hearing from victims of gun violence, as well as surviving family members of persons killed by guns.
In addition to the painful stories and remembrances, though, were lighter moments, including when attendees were asked to wear special “earrings” to show their support for the movement.
