Climate strikes are continuing around the world, demanding action on the climate crisis. Two such strikes are coming to Kentucky in the next two weeks.
Frankfort Climate Strike
This Friday, Together Frankfort is joining with some Frankfort students and other members of the community to hold a “Black Friday Climate Strike” from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.
Participants will meet in the Kroger West Side parking lot at 1309 Highway 127 South, then move out to the intersection to rally. You are encouraged to bring a friend, and to bring signs. Bowling Green Climate Strike
On Friday, December 6, organizers in Bowling Green are planning a Climate Strike at the Western Kentucky campus. The event will start at 12 noon local time, with participants meeting in Cherry Hall (1906 College Heights Blvd).
