I attended the launch event for Rep. Charles Booker this afternoon. He is forming an exploratory committee to help him decide whether to run in the 2020 Democratic primary to face Mitch McConnell for U.S. Senate.
It was a pretty good crowd, that kept growing throughout the event. And, the speakers were good as well, with Rep. Booker doing a really good job of laying out why he is thinking of running.
