Repubs go further into the gutter in AG race

Republicans are apparently so worried about the race for attorney general that they have gone further into the gutter with their attacks – including sending a slime piece to a candidate’s wife.

Karen Stumbo, the wife of Dem candidate Greg Stumbo, received this piece in the past few days. It was mailed directly to their home address.

And the national Republican Attorney Generals Association sent this lovely card to voters:

There’s an old saying that “politics ain’t beanbag.” Attacks are expected. But this sort of slime just takes our political process further into the gutter.

When you can’t win on your own record, you try to win with slime. Let’s hope Kentucky voters can see through the rainstorm of slime that Republicans are showering across our state, and reject it by voting in Greg Stumbo as our next attorney general.
